ALFRED, NY – Visiting RIT defeated the Alfred University men’s tennis team, 8-1, Sunday afternoon.

Alfred’s lone win came in first doubles, with juniors Connor Houghton (Orleans, MA/Nauset Regional) and Nick Schneider (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) claiming an 8-3 decision.

The Saxons (3-4, 1-3 Empire 8) are in action next on Monday, April 12, at 4 p.m. at home against non-league foe Pitt-Bradford.
