ALFRED, NY -- Due to inclement weather, a pair of Alfred University home softball doubleheaders scheduled for this weekend have been postponed.

Both Empire 8 Conference doubleheaders -- today (April 17) against Stevens and Sunday (April 18) against Elmira -- were postponed due to rain forecast for both days. The doubleheader against Elmira is rescheduled for Wedensday, April 28; the games with Stevens will be played on Friday, April 30. Both twinbills will be played at Hornell High School at a time to be announced.

Alfred (18-4, 5-1 Empire 8) plays next on Tuesday, April 20, in a 3 p.m. doubleheader at Cazenovia.
