Terrence M. Parker, Allegany County district attorney, will deliver this year’s Constitution Day address at Alfred University. His talk “Your Constitutional Right to Firearms: Today and Tomorrow,” is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, in the Knight Club at the Powell Campus Center on the AU campus.

A handwritten, signed note, dated 1786, by Oliver Ellsworth, second Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, will be given as a door prize.

Admission is open to the public, free of charge.
