FREDONIA, NY – The Alfred University volleyball team lost 3-0 to host SUNY Fredonia Tuesday evening. AU lost by scores of 35-23, 25-17 and 25-11.

Junior Emily Crosby (Fairport, NY/Fairport) had four kills, three service aces and five digs for the Saxons, whop fell to 1-3 on the season. Freshman Tara Barone (Derby, NY/Lake Shore) had seven assists and five digs and senior Stephanie Miller (Indianapolis, IN/North Central) had two blocks.

Alfred is in action next on Saturday, Sept. 11 at 2 p.m. at SUNY Cobleskill.
