AU’s Women of Influence series features Christina DelliSanti-Miller
Christina DelliSanti-Miller, founder of Athena Collaborative Group, Inc., is the first speaker in this year’s Women’s Leadership Center’s (WLC) “Women of Influence” series at Alfred University.
She will present “Preparing for a Career in a post-'Mad Men' World,” at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at the WLC on the corner of Ford and Sayles streets. Her discussion will include strategies for achieving success in non-traditional careers, a mission which the Athena Collaborative supports. The series is open to the public free of charge.
DelliSanti-Miller's talk will cover gender issues at work, including how to build strong, positive relationships and connections in your career.
DelliSanti-Miller has 20 years’ experience in the development of individuals and groups in the transportation, aerospace, and financial services industries. Most recently she served as the head of diversity, Americas, for a European investment bank. She earned a master’s degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University.
The WLC builds on Alfred University’s heritage as the first truly coeducational institution in the nation. The Women of Influence program brings powerful female role models to campus, providing opportunities for inspiration and guidance through lectures and small-group discussions. Past speakers have included a NYS Supreme Court judge, a dean of a medical college, and a lobbyist from Albany.
