KEUKA PARK, NY -- Host Keuka College defeated the Alfred University men's soccer team, 1-0, Wednesday evening.

Keuka's Carl Learned netted the game-winning goal for Keuka, on an assist from Nate Schreiber, with just under 20 minutes remaining in the second half.

The teams were evenly matched throughout, with Keuka holding a slight 17-15 edge in shots. AU junior Elliot Thorpe (Highlands Ranch, CO/Thunder Ridge) made five saves, while Keuka netminder Kyle Salo stopped seven shots.

Alfred (4-7-2) is in action next on Saturday, Oct. 16, at noon at RIT.
