AU's College of Business again rated one of the best in the nation

Alfred University’s College of Business is again rated among the top 300 in the nation, according to The Princeton Review.

“Alfred University’s business programs are rated among the best based on the excellent teaching, positive academic experience, and great career preparation reported by our students,” said Nancy Evangelista, associate provost and acting dean of the College of Business. “The Princeton Review celebrates the strength of our programs and helps prospective students to see what a great education they’ll get at Alfred.”

Alfred University’s College of Business is accredited by the AACSB, an international accrediting organization, for both its bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. Few schools in the country, particularly those the size of AU’s College of Business, earn such a distinction.

The Best 300 Business Schools: 2011 Edition, published this week by The Princeton Review, says “If you are looking for an ‘intimate environment’ for your MBA (master’s of business administration) experience, Alfred University is well-worth a look.”
The guide quotes one AU student as saying, “The greatest strength of Alfred University is its size. The classes are between 10 and 20 people, and the interaction is incredible. One really feels a part of the class discussions.”

To compile its guide, The Princeton Review surveyed more than 19,000 MBA students in accredited programs.
