HOBOKEN, NJ —The Ducks scored three assisted goals to defeat the visiting Saxons, 3-0, in an Empire 8 Conference contest Saturday afternoon.

Stephen Dunbar scored the lone goal of the first half on a cross from Edward Rupp. Victor Daza and Nolan Sandberg each scored assisted second half goals en route to the 3-0, shutout victory. Christian Grapel and Zach Adler each finished with an assist.

Stevens (10-1-3, 5-0-1 E8) outshot Alfred 20-4. Junior goalie Elliot Thorpe (Highlands Ranch, CO/ Thunder Ridge) made fives saves in goal for Alfred. Zach Carr made two saves in net for The Ducks.

Alfred (4-9-3, 0-6-0 E8) is in action again on Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 4 p.m., when they travel to take on host Cobleskill.
