Alfred University alumna to exhibit work at Cohen Gallery
Lissy Blomster, a 1998 alumna of Alfred University’s School of Art & Design, will exhibit her work at the Cohen Gallery, Main Street, Alfred.
The show, “See Through: Found Materials and Visible Layers,” opens March 17 with a reception at 5 p.m. at the gallery.
Blomster, who earned a BFA degree from Alfred University and an MFA degree from the Rhode Island School of Design, is currently a visiting assistant professor of printmaking at the University.
She has previously been an art manger at Adventure House, an art editor at Oxford University Press and an adjunct professor at the Rhode Island School of Design.
