BUFFALO, NY -- The Alfred University softball team's non-conference doubleheader at D'Youville has been cancelled due to poor field conditions caused by inclement weather.

The games had been scheduled to be played beginning at 3 p.m. The Saxons (12-9, 3-7 Empire 8) play next on Saturday, April 30, for a 1 p.m. doubleheader at Empire 8 opponent Nazareth.

AU wraps up Empire 8 play with a 1 p.m. doubleheader Sunday, May 1, at Elmira and concludes its regular season with a 3 p.m. non-league doubleheader at RPI on Tuesday, May 3.
