Alfred University is hosting a summer blood drive for the American Red Cross blood on Tuesday, July 19, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Knight Club, Powell Campus Center.

The Red Cross reports that blood supplies are critically low right now. As an incentive, the organization will present each donor with a coupon for a free carton of Friendly’s ice cream.
