PITTSFORD, NY - The Alfred University women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision Nazareth Monday afternoon.

AU (2-5, 0-4 Empire 8) got its lone point from junior Catherine Spencer (Homer, NY/Homer), who won fifth singles, 3-6, 7-6 (9-7), 10-7.

The Saxons are in action next on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 4 p.m. at home against Ithaca.
