ALFRED, NY - The Alfred University volleyball team defeated dropped a 3-0 decision at Medaille College Wednesday evening, losing by scores of 25-6, 25-23, 25-22.

Sophomore Chelsea Hall (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) paced AU with seven kills, 11 digs, two service aces and six blocks. Sophomore Samantha Wood (Newfield, NY/Newfield) had nine blocks and sophomore Paige Jensen (Weiser, ID/Weiser) had six. Sophomore Janelle Gallipeau (Rochester, NY/Greece Olympia) had 12 assists and seven digs.

AU (4-11, 0-4 Empire 8) is in action again on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 7 and 8, at the Oswego State Invitational Tournament.
