BRADFORD, PA-  The Alfred University women’s soccer team lost on the road to Pitt-Bradford, 5-1, Wednesday evening.

Senior midfielder Devin Fitzgerald (Rochester, NY/Greece-Olympia) scored a goal in the final minute for Alfred (2-1-0, 0-0-0 Empire 8). Junior goalkeeper Samijo Scheer (Corning, NY/East) played 72 minutes in net and made four saves, while senior Ashley Frazell (Newton, NJ/Newton) finished the remainder of the game and made one save. 

The Lady Saxons look to bounce back Saturday, Sept. 8, at 7 p.m. at Merrill Field when they take on Hilbert.
