ALFRED,NY-  The Alfred University men’s soccer team lost 1-0 in an overtime decision, at Wells, Wednesday evening.

For the game, AU held an advantage in shots (23-12) and corner kicks (five to two), but could not find the next in the final minutes.

Freshman goalies Matthew Unick (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley) and William Badger (Dannemora, NY/Saranac) each played a half, making three saves apiece.

Alfred travels to Stevens Saturday, Sept. 22, at 2 p.m. to resume Empire 8 play.
