SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY - The Alfred University men’s and women’s cross country teams competed Saturday at the Empire 8 Conference championships. The AU men placed eighth on the 8-kilometer course and the Saxon women were eighth on the three-mile course.

Junior Nolan Rummel (Kings Park, NY/Kings Park) led the AU men with a 38^th-place finish in 30:05.12. Junior Eddie Potter came in 43^rd in 31:06.30.

Sophomore Tracie Forrester (Gainesville, NY/Letchworth) paced the Alfred women with her 41^st-place finish in 20:39.24; freshman Morgan Flick (Honeoye, NY/Honeoye) was 49^th in 21:49.74.

The AU men’s and women’s teams compete next at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals, Nov. 10 in Rochester, NY.
