Grad students organize photo event at Hornell Art Center
First-year graduate students in the Sculpture/Dimensional Studies Program in the School of Art and Design at Alfred University will host “Hornell Picture Show – A Photo Carnival,” a public photography event, on Saturday, Nov. 10 from noon-6 p.m. at the Hornell Arts Center on Broadway Street, Hornell. The event is free and open to the public.
Visitors will be able to pose in several elaborate and quirky scenes, many involving costumes and props, that will be set up inside the Hornell Arts Center. Everyone is welcome to take part in any or all of the scenes, and all visitors will be given a free color photograph as a souvenir of their experience.
All ages are welcome to watch or participate. Popcorn and other light refreshments will be served.
The Hornell Area Transport (HAT) will be operating to bring visitors from Alfred to the Art Center and back.
