Celebrate King Day with AU’s Drawn to Diversity Team

Honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by celebrating diversity and equality on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at The National Museum of Play® at The Strong Museum, Rochester, NY, with interactive theater shows by Alfred University’s Art Force Five. at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. and learn how creativity can assist in problem-solving and in promoting equality. View a comic book display that illustrates America’s journey toward civil rights.

Also, take part in a musical sign language performance by Dangerous Signs, a group of students from Rochester Institute of Technology, at 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. Also, learn basic sign language from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
