HOBOKEN,NJ-  The Alfred University men’s basketball team fell to Stevens Tech, 72-48, Friday evening on the road.

Senior forward Sean Curran (Honesdale, PA/Honesdale), sophomore center Dalton Walsh (Stockton, NY/Cassadaga Valley), and senior forward Brett Dennis (Webster, NY/Webster Schroeder) scored 21 points collectively to lead the Saxons, with eight, seven, and six points.  Freshman guard Antoine Johnson (Watervliet, NY/Watervliet) pulled down a team-high six rebounds also.

For the game, Alfred shot 34 percent from the field, 20 percent from the 3-point line, and 53 percent from the line.

The Saxons (3-10, 1-4 Empire 8) play Hartwick, Saturday, Jan. 12, at 4 p.m. in a non-conference matchup.
