Galloway participates in ‘Montana Contemporary’

Art by Julia Galloway, AU class of 1988, is included in a three-artist exhibition, "Montana Contemporary," on display through Friday, Aug. 9 at The Livingston Center for Art and Culture, 119 S. Main St., Livingston, Montana. The center is open Tuesdays-Fridays from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. For more information visit: www.livingstoncenter.org

Julia, self-described as a “utilitarian potter,” is director of the School of Art and a professor at the University of Montana-Missoula.  She’s been an artist in residence at Archie Bray Foundation, and other art schools around the nation.  Her work is widely published and exhibited, including a showing at the Smithsonian Museum.
