‘Colorful’ advice for forcing flower bulbs indoors

Alumnus George Graine, AU Class of 1955 and Fairfax County (VA) representative to the Virginia Master Gardener Association Inc., is the author of a publication written for Virginia Cooperative Extension about forcing flower bulbs to bring color inside. Take a look at

George is married to AU alumna Gwendolyn Graine.  She is a studio artist at Torpedo Factory Art Center, where her media is paper assemblages, (Japanese papers painted with bold acrylic colors, some folded, some cut, etc.) 

After a career in the Army, George turned to his true passion, horticulture.  He is a contributing author to newsletters and advice columns in the Fairfax Times, the Virginia Gardener Magazine, and other publications.
