Stull Observatory open to public Thursday nights in July
During the month of July the Stull Observatory at Alfred University (AU) will be open to the public on Thursday evenings, 10 p.m.-midnight, if the skies are clear. Summer research assistants will use the University telescopes to show participants the moon, Saturn, Mars, and much more.
There is no charge for the viewing. However, if you have a group of more than 10 people, please call 607.871.2208 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays to make a reservation.
The Observatory is located near the corner of Pine Hill Drive and Nevins in Alfred, on the southeast corner of the Alfred University campus.
