Residence Life : Graduate Student Housing

Graduate Student Houses (53 West University, 15 Terrace Street, Alfred, NY)
Alfred University has two houses dedicated to first-year graduate students.

Both houses are located close to campus, in quiet residential neighborhoods composed primarily of single-family homes.

53 W. University houses 5 graduate students in single rooms in two apartments.  15 Terrace Street has housing for 6 students, with one double room, in a house setting.  Residents pay the double or single room rate, which includes utilities, internet and cable service, laundry facilities, off-street parking, trash and recycling pick-up and yard maintenance. In addition, the houses offer a private back yard, perfect for an outdoor BBQ or a place to relax at the end of the day.

Additionally, the houses are fully furnished with a full kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave), full bathroom, and basic furnishings such as beds, dressers, desks, kitchen table and chairs, and sofas.

Residents of Graduate Student Housing must be 21 years of age or older and in their first year of graduate school at Alfred University. Students interested in living at the Graduate Student House should fill out an application.
