AU Saxon Football Prospect Day Camp

Come join Alfred University's Saxon Football coaching staff for a day-long skills clinic. It will be held on Alfred University's Merrill Field. Start time will be 9 AM, ending at 3 PM.

Who can Attend?
Any football player about to play their 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade season.

Enrollment Deadline: June 1

General Information:

  • Cost of Day Camp: $45.00 - PAYMENT MUST ACCOMPANY REGISTRATION FORM
  • Times for the Day Camp: 9 AM - 3 PM
  • Location: Alfred University's Merrill Field
  • Registrations are not refundable
  • Parents are encouraged to attend

Schedule:

  • 9:00 AM - Registration, Merrill Field
  • 9:30 AM - Practice #1
  • 11:30 AM - Lunch
  • 12:30 PM - Practice #2
  • 2:30 PM - Seniors meet with Coaches
  • 3:30 PM - Departure

What to Bring:

  • Field Turf Shoes
  • Practice Shorts
  • Workout T-Shirt
  • Rising Seniors ONLY: Academic transcripts and test scores

Students will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis so it is a good idea to enroll as early as possible. Once accepted campers will receive, along with their acceptance letter, instructions on where to find and download all required materials including medical, emergency contact, and parental permission forms. Updated immunization information (including dates) is also required prior to the camp.

Camp Director:
The camp will be run by Head Football Coach Bob Rankl who is entering his 19th season at Alfred University. Coach Rankl has helped to oversee the dramatic resurrection of the Saxon Football Program. Over the last 12 seasons, the Saxons have won 85 games, competed in the post-season 10 times, made a run to the national quarterfinals (2010), and individually, 15 players have been awarded with All-American honors.

Program Cancellation Policy
The University may cancel any course or activity at any time because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a program is cancelled the University will refund registration fees. If we do not meet our minimum enrollment number by two business days after the clinic's corresponding deadline (see above), the camp will be cancelled, campers and their parents will be notified, and camp fees will be refunded.
