There are many academic reasons for studying at AU over the summer:

  • Complete a full semester course within a few weeks
  • Make up a course that you failed during the fall or spring
  • Concentrate on one course without the burden of a heavy course load
  • Lighten your course load in the Fall and Spring
  • Smaller classes
  • More individualized attention
  • Advance your academic standing
  • Accelerate your degree
  • Take graduate courses, or prepare for graduate study

Classes are open to current Alfred University students, incoming freshmen, transfer students and undergraduate and graduate students from other colleges and universities.
