full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, presents
the engineering profession as a positive force in society,
and demonstrates the value of diversity. SWE is a national
society with professional, student, and corporate members
and chapters. It consists of nearly 100 professional sections,
300 student chapters, and members-at-large in all engineering
and technology disciplines, making SWE a preeminent non-profit
