Dan Napolitano ’93, MSEd ’98 will depart Alfred University after 28 years of employment to become the Chief of Staff for The New School in Manhattan, New York City, effective May 2.

The end of the spring semester yields the fruits of the academic year’s work and variety of public events in the School of Art & Design and Performing Arts Division.

Alfred Summer Arts 2022 features four week-long arts workshops in a variety of media areas designed for participants working at all levels: artists, teachers, community members and visiting professionals. Week three will feature an immersive five-day festival designed to embrace the creativity of the community in collaboration with local and international visiting artists.
