Alfred University to host glass instrument concert by noted musician Dennis James Alfred University will host a concert by Dennis James, a musician who will play all-glass instruments, the Franklin Armonica and Cristal Bischet, on Thursday, Sept. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in Miller Theater.

IEA Artist-in-Residence schedule The Alfred University School of Art and Design announces the schedule for Institute for Electronic Arts (IEA) Artists-in-Residence for the fall 2022 semester.

Alfred University to sponsor Urban Bush Women Dance Company performances Alfred University, Division of Performing Arts, Department of Dance is partnering with SUNY Brockport to sponsor performances by the Urban Bush Women Dance Company on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 16 and 17, at Harwell Dance Theater at Suny Brockport.

First-year MFA presentations Alfred University will introduce first-year Master of Fine Arts graduate students at an event scheduled for Sept. 14 at 4:30 p.m. at Nevins Theater, Powell Campus Center.
