Alfred University graduate Paul Briggs featured in 'Ceramics Monthly'

Paul Briggs, who received his Master’s degree in Education in 1992, while studying ceramic art at Alfred University’s School of Art and Design, is featured this month on the cover of Ceramics Monthly. An extensive article reviewing Briggs life follows in the magazine and is entitled, A Delicate Balance: Paul Briggs.
As author Leigh Taylor Mickelson relates, Briggs grew up in the Hudson Valley and began working enthusiastically with clay while a freshman in high school. In addition to his graduate work at Alfred University, he received the MFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and a PhD in Education from Penn State.
