Alfred University President Mark Zupan was one of two guests who participated in a virtual panel discussion of the future of the economy as it emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The discussion, “The 2021 Economic Outlook: COVID and Beyond,” was hosted by the Rochester Beacon and was held on Thursday, Jan. 14. Zupan was joined by fellow guest panelist Jed Kolko, chief economist at Indeed, the world’s largest online jobs site.

Kent Gardner, chief economist at the Center for Governmental Research and Rochester Beacon opinion editor, moderated the discussion, which was virtually via Zoom. The panel discussion was sponsored by Terzioglu Cohen Group at Morgan Stanley and the Rochester Area Community Foundation.
