Alfred University reaches agreement with beverage provider PepsiCo

Alfred University and its food services provider, AVI Foodsystems, today announced PepsiCo as the new official beverage provider for its campus dining operations and vending locations.
ALFRED, NY (Jan. 11, 2021)—Alfred University and its food services provider, AVI Foodsystems, today announced PepsiCo as the new official beverage provider for its campus dining operations and vending locations.
Beginning with the upcoming spring semester—students will begin returning to campus later this week and classes begin Jan. 25—Alfred University’s dining facilities will serve a variety of PepsiCo products. PepsiCo will also provide 27 vending machines, operated by AVI, which will be installed at various locations across campus on Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 11 and 12. AVI personnel will begin filling the machines shortly thereafter.
The new agreement will provide the Alfred University community with PepsiCo’s broad portfolio of beverage options, including Pepsi, Gatorade, Pure Leaf iced tea, Mountain Dew, Starbucks ready-to-drink coffee, LIFEWTR, bubly, and more.
The PepsiCo vending machines will offer the campus community a wider variety of beverage options, and will soon accept a number of cashless payment methods, including AU Dining Dollars, major branded credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Wallet, and Android Pay.
