Alfred University seeks donations of winter weather apparel

With winter in full swing and temperatures falling into single digits at times, some Alfred University students are in need of cold weather clothing.


ALFRED, NY – With winter in full swing and temperatures falling into single digits at times, some Alfred University students are in need of cold weather clothing.

Alfred University has organized a drive to collect gently used winter apparel—coats, sweaters, hats, scarves, gloves and mittens, boots, and thick socks—to distribute to students and other members of the University community. Donations can be dropped off at the Bernstein Center for Advising, third floor, Powell Campus Center, from Monday, Feb. 15, through Wednesday morning, Feb. 17.

Students in need of winter apparel can stop by the Community Table, Powell Campus Center, Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 17, to pick out items from the donations.
