Professor Cecilia Beach's work in Rwanda featured in magazine 'Yoga Easy'

Cecilia Beach, Alfred University Professor of French, Director of Women’s and Gender Studies, and Yoga instructor, was recently featured in the German yoga magazine Yoga Easy.

Beach spent two years in Rwanda living at the Ituze Mindfulness and Yoga Center in Kigali and teaching yoga, meditation and Breath-Body-Mind both in the studio and in a variety of outreach programs including a school for disadvantaged youths, a center for disabled women, a rehabilitation center for street kids, and homes for elderly genocide survivors.

She talked about her two years in Rwanda at this week’s Bergren Forum.
