Artist talk by Adero Willard set for March 25

Ceramic artist Adero Willard will deliver an artist talk via Zoom at 5:30pm Thursday, March 25. Willard is a visiting assistant professor in Alfred University’s School of Art and Design, Division of Ceramic Art.

Willard’s ceramic work involves blazing colors and bold shapes. On her website she remarks: “A passion for color and pattern is what fuels my work as an artist. A love of clay grounds me in my work as a potter. It is as much a desire to make beautiful objects as it is a commitment to nurture a love of the arts and of the handmade in myself and others. To me, that duty is incumbent on a ceramic artist.”
