Candidates for the interdisciplinary BFA degree from Alfred University’s School of Art and Design show their work in a diverse number of media and genres including ceramics, painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, video, sonic arts, interactive media, interactive graphic design and drawing. There will be an online catalog of senior student work on the SOAD website (link above), which features the work of each graduates. This catalog will go online on May 8, 2021.

Known informally as the “Senior Shows,” the annual spring exhibition has traditionally drawn art lovers to the University campus, where senior art students mount their capstone art projects – and provide a smorgasbord of different tastes for the appetites of the hundreds. With the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the University in 2020 shifted to an online platform to permit the continued celebration of its graduating artists.

The exhibition of student art will continue through May 12.
