Eric Souther, Assistant Professor of Video Art in the School of Art and Design, is showing new work developed by himself and Jonathan Hopp, Assistant Professor of Ceramic Art, at Impact 11, the International Multi-disciplinary Printmaking, Artists, Concepts and Techniques, held this year in Hong Kong.

First held in 1999, at the University of the West of England, the International Multi-disciplinary Printmaking, Artists, Concepts and Techniques – is one of the largest professional conferences dedicated specifically to printmaking.

Souther writes:” I was invited by the Curators Zuzanna Dyrda and Marta Kubiak for a show titled Borderline Printmakers. I am showing new work that was developed … for direct laser sintering (or #glazering) of glaze on ceramic tile. The works deal with oscillations and cycles of deep architectural time.
