Throughout the month of May, Agati, who earned a B.F.A. from Alfred University, is an artist in residence at the Philadelphia Horticulture Society's Meadowbrook Farm garden site in Jenkintown, PA.
The Meadowbrook Farm gardens are now open to the public with a current sculpture exhibition presented by InLiquid through October. A piece of Agati’s work, Radiate, is part of the exhibition. Visit in person, or follow Agati on Instagram @nagati12.
Beginning next month, Agati will be instructing an ecological land art course at FDR Park in South Philadelphia. The classes, offered as a four-session workshop June 25-July 15, are sponsored by Fleisher Art Memorial, one of the country’s oldest nonprofit community art schools.
In July, Agati’s work—a new piece made with invasive vines—will be included in Outdoor Art Installations at High School Park in Elkins Park, PA.
Two pieces of Agati’s artwork Undercurrent_RallyorRisk, and Undercurrent_Rift, 2020—have been on exhibit since January at Shrine gallery in New York City, as part of an online group show.
