Alfred University College of Business to host panel discussion on personal finance

The Alfred University College of Business will host a panel discussion on personal finance on Saturday, Oct. 2, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event is being held in person and virtually via Zoom.
ALFRED, NY – The Alfred University College of Business will host a panel discussion on personal finance on Saturday, Oct. 2, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event is being held in person and virtually via Zoom.
Panelists for the event include Alfred University alumnus Zach Harrington ’14 (B.S., finance), a partner and financial advisor with Rise Advisors LLC, a financial planning and investment management firm in Rochester; Sheyenne Gallman, a certified public accountant and supervisor at the accounting firm of Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro, P.C.; and Janine Mosher, associate director in the Alfred University Financial Aid Office.
Topics discussed by the panel will include investing and financial planning, student loans, and personal taxes. The College of Business is hosting the event to offer current students and alumni “the tools to navigate the world of personal finance and lay a foundation for future success. Our goal is to continue supporting our Alumni and students well after graduation.”
