Sept 23. Bergren Forum: Military Justice: Is it Still a Contradiction in Terms?

Rutgers University Professor Emeritus Jonathan Lurie will deliver the Sept. 23 Bergren Forum, "Military Justice: Is it Still a Contradiction in Terms?"

The Bergren Forum, sponsored by the Division of Human Studies, is held at 12:10 p.m. each Thursday the University. It is being offered virtually via Zoom and will return to an in-person format once the university considers this sufficiently safe. The Zoom links can be obtained by e-mailing Marilyn Saxton.

Lurie has taught for many years at Rutgers University Law School and has been a visiting professor at the U.S. Military Academy, at West Point.  He is the author numerous books, including Military Justice in America, and a biography of former president and Chief Justice William Howard Taft, William Howard Taft: The Travails of a Progressive Conservative.
