Wellsville native K. Neil Van Dine to present in Environmental Speakers Series

K. Neil Van Dine, co-founder and country director of Haiti Outreach Inc., will present at next week’s Environmental Studies Speakers Series. The presentation, titled “Water and Sanitation in Haiti,” is scheduled for 12:20 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10.
ALFRED, NY – K. Neil Van Dine, co-founder and country director of Haiti Outreach Inc., will present at next week’s Environmental Studies Speakers Series. The presentation, titled “Water and Sanitation in Haiti,” is scheduled for 12:20 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10.

Haiti Outreach is a non-profit organization founded in 1997 which provides training, technical and management skills, and financial assistance to create sustainable clean water supplies for communities in the nation of Haiti.
Originally from Wellsville, NY, Van Dine has a B.S. degree in mathematics from Albright College and an M.S. degree in civil engineering (concentration on water) from Norwich University and has lived in Haiti since 1989. Prior to founding Haiti Outreach, he managed projects for World Christian Relief Fund and the United Nation’s International Office of Migration in Haiti.
