Alfred University alumnus Cameron Prophet ’10 to give talk in Environmental Speakers Series

Alfred University alumnus Cameron Prophet ’10 will present at next week’s Environmental Studies Speakers Series. The virtual presentation—titled “Mitigation of Dam Effects on Desert Riparian Vegetation: The Long-Term Experimental Management Plan for the Colorado River in Grand Canyon National Park”—is scheduled for 12:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15


ALFRED, NY – Alfred University alumnus Cameron Prophet ’10 will present at next week’s Environmental Studies Speakers Series. The virtual presentation—titled “Mitigation of Dam Effects on Desert Riparian Vegetation: The Long-Term Experimental Management Plan for the Colorado River in Grand Canyon National Park”—is scheduled for 12:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15.

The presenters in the Fall 2021 semester Environmental Studies Speakers Series have a connection to Alfred University or the Alfred area. Prophet, Invasive Plants Crew Lead, Grand Canyon National Park Vegetation Program, earned a BFA degree from Alfred University in 2010. He is the son of two Alfred University alumni: father Craig Prophet ’68, and mother Becky Prophet ’70, professor of theater at Alfred University.
