The School of Art and Design and Division of Performing Arts will host an Arts Open House on Saturday, October 30.
The School of Art and Design and Division of Performing Arts will host an Arts Open House on Saturday, October 30.
The Open House offers and opportunity to see all the Arts at Alfred University have to offer. This all inclusive day will include a tour of our studios, time with faculty, and the opportunity for one on one portfolio reviews.
The Arts open house will run from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m., and is part of our larger Fiat FestiFall event running throughout the weekend!
Friday October 29th - Opening reception in the student-run Turner Gallery and Fosdick-Neslon Gallery in Harder Hall from 6-8 p.m. then enjoy some Halloween music at the Orchestra concert at 7:30 p.m. in Holmes Auditorium. Costumes encouraged!
Saturday October 30th - After the Open House: Fiat Festifall. The event will include a vendor fair under the tent on the Brick lawn from 2-5 p.m, pumpkin carving contest with a surprise guest judge, and student video work screened in Holmes Auditorium from 7:30-9:00 p.m.
