October 21 Art Walk to Feature Tour of ‘Path of the Teabowl’ Exhibit

ALFRED – The October Alfred Art Walk, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 21, will feature a guided tour through the current exhibition at the Alfred Ceramic Art Museum, Path of the Teabowl at 5pm.

Alfred University Associate Professor of Art History Meghen Jones, who served as guest curator for the exhibit, will lead the tour, discuss exhibition highlights, share behind-the-scenes insights, and answer audience questions.
Wayne Higby, ACAM Director and Chief Curator will make opening remarks.
The Alfred Art Walk is a collaborative monthly venture created by the galleries in the Village of Alfred and on the campuses of Alfred University and Alfred State College in an effort to foster dialogue within the local arts communities. Its goal is to support local artists and galleries and to highlight Alfred as an arts destination.
In addition to the Alfred Ceramic Art Museum, other art venues that are part of the tour include: The Fosdick Nelson Gallery; Cohen Center Gallery; Gallery 2; and Alfred Art Studio at the West.
