Professor of Dance Colleen Wahl to deliver Oct. 28 Bergren Forum

Colleen Wahl, Assistant Professor of Dance in Alfred University’s Division of Performing Arts, will deliver the Oct. 28 Bergren Forum, “Let’s Punch Each Other! Experiences of Power in Boxing.”
Colleen Wahl, Assistant Professor of Dance in Alfred University’s Division of Performing Arts, will deliver the Oct. 28 Bergren Forum, “Let’s Punch Each Other! Experiences of Power in Boxing.” Wahl’s lecture will explore the development of power, possible aggression, and mutual support in community boxing environments.
Wahl graduated in 2006 with a BA in Dance, Arts and Education from Hobart and William Smith College. She received her MALS in Liberal Studies from Empire State College, State University of New York, and her MFA in Dance from SUNY Brockport. In 2016, she received her certification as a Personal Fitness Trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
She joined the Alfred University faculty in 2016.
The Bergren Forum, sponsored by the Division of Human Studies, is held at 12:10 p.m. each Thursday the University.
