Gary Ostrower ’61, retired professor of history at Alfred University, was a guest on the Tuesday, March 8, episode of the “Newsmaker” program on Hornell, NY, radio station WLEA 1480-AM.
During Tuesday’s Newsmaker program, Ostrower discussed a number of current events, including the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the resulting sanctions that have been placed on Russia, and the leadership shown by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Ostrower, who earned a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Alfred University in 1961, taught at his alma mater from 1969 until the end of the Fall 2021 semester.
