Judy Livingston, associate professor of graphic design at Alfred University, has designed a graphic that can be used to easily donate to relief efforts benefiting refugees from Ukraine.

Livingston created the graphic, which is designed based on the blue and gold Ukrainian flag, after Alfred University student Liz Schumacher started a fundraiser to assisted Ukrainians affected by the Russian invasion. Schumacher, a junior global studies major, identified two fundraising efforts — organized by the Red Cross in Ukraine and UN Refugee Agency — to which people can donate.

The graphic designed by Livingston (shown above) includes a QR code, which is linked directly to the “donate now” page on to the UN Refugee Agency website.
