Senior Shows returning to in-person exhibitions; digital tours an added bonus

Alfred University’s School of Art and Design will host the annual Senior Shows, beginning with the traditional reception from 4 to 8 pm on May 7. Candidates for the degree of BFA will exhibit their work through May 11.


Alfred University’s School of Art and Design will host the annual Senior Shows, beginning with the traditional reception from 4 to 8 pm on May 7. Candidates for the degree of BFA will exhibit their work through May 11.

Students’ capstone projects will be on display in Harder Hall, Binns-Merrill Hall, Cohen Barn and Miller Performing Arts Center. The media and genres will include ceramics, painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, video, sonic arts, interactive media, interactive graphic design, and drawing.

The BFA exhibitions will be open to the open. Family and visitors from outside the School of Art & Design unable to join in person are be able to view the exhibitions through a series of streaming and video tours and an online gallery.
