Humanitarian aid fundraiser to benefit Ukraine scheduled for Friday, April 15
A fundraiser to provide humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine will be held Friday, April 15, from 5-8 p.m. in the second floor lounge of Powell Campus Center.
ALFRED, NY – A fundraiser to provide humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine will be held Friday, April 15, from 5-8 p.m. in the second floor lounge of Powell Campus Center.
Soup, ceramic bowls, glass-blown cups, and metal keychains are being sold, while supplies last. All proceeds from the sales will be donated to the Ukrainian Chapter of The Red Cross and the UN Refugee Agency. The funds will be used to assist Ukrainian people injured and displaced from their homes during the Russian invasion.
The fundraiser is organized by Liz Schumacher, a junior global studies major.
