Zupan’s op-ed, titled “Why 25 American Universities are Awarding Zelenskyy an Honorary Degree (Including Mine),” appeared in smerconish.com on Monday, April 11.

To date, 26 colleges and universities in five states have agreed to award honorary degrees to Zelenskyy at their respective spring commencement exercises

In addition to the op-ed, several major U.S. newspapers and publications published stories about the many institutions of higher education planning to award honorary degrees to Zelenskyy. They include the Washington Post, U.S New and World Report, USA Today, Detroit Free Press, San Jose Mercury News, and San Francisco Chronicle.
