MFA thesis exhibitions include virtual artist talks
ALFRED, NY – Candidates for Master of Fine Arts degrees from the Alfred University School of Art and Design will present their thesis projects in exhibitions beginning Saturday, April 9. In addition to their exhibitions, several candidate opted to give virtual gallery talks.
ALFRED, NY – Candidates for Master of Fine Arts degrees from the Alfred University School of Art and Design will present their thesis projects in exhibitions beginning Saturday, April 9. The weekly exhibitions will extend through May 6. Exhibition reception hours are 6 to 8 pm on Saturday, April 9, 16, 23 and 30, and on Friday May 6. An Instagram Live event in Germany will be shown from 10 am to noon May 7 showcasing MFA students’ achievements in painting. @alfredpaintingmfa
Several of the MFA students will give artist talks related to their work. The talks will be offered virtually and the candidate for degrees in Sculpture / Dimensional Studies will also offer an in person option
An online catalog of graduate student work will be posted on the website a week after Commencement
